Say no to erasing our heritage

We have a shared heritage that we memorialize and in some cases that causes pain to particular groups. It is proper for us to occasionally look at who and what we hold up as worthy examples of our history and even change some. But this should be done in an orderly fashion as voted on by the people or determined by their elected representatives. Not by a mob engaged in violent protest.

The Breonna Taylor homicide in Louisville. KY was a tragedy and there are calls to arrest the officers involved in the incident. While there doesn’t seem to have been a crime committed, there are definitely lessons we can learn and potential changes that can be made to how warrants are served.

Chinese propaganda is now saying the U.S. Army brought the Corona virus to them. They have deployed both official statements and a full-on bot army to spread this malicious lie on social media. As crazy as it may sound, the story will gain traction and damage the United States while deflecting from the role China itself played in this global pandemic. This propaganda virus will spread online in a similar fashion to the actual virus in the real world.
